Bethany for Children & Families is a non-profit, multi-service agency, led by a dedicated, volunteer Board of Directors. Programs are available in Rock Island, Mercer, Henry, Lee, Carroll, Bureau, Stark, and Whiteside counties in Illinois; and Scott, Muscatine, Cedar, Clinton and Jackson counties in Iowa. Founded in 1899, Bethany offers an array of programs "to nurture children and strengthen families and communities ensuring they are healthy and supportive places for children to grow." Our services include: adoption; after-school programs; day treatment for adolescents; family loan program; foster care; individual & family therapy; in-home counseling; juvenile justice diversion services; prevention, education and counseling services for families; services to teen parents; supportive living services for adolescents; and therapeutic recreation. |
