Foster Care Alumni of America is a national non-profit association that has been founded and is led by alumni of the foster care system. They work to connect alumni and share support and information. Alumni can attend meetings, respond to chat rooms, or participating in an event, along with many other activities. The association also works with those invested in foster care, such as organizational members and anyone involved in the practice and policy in foster care advocacy.

The mission of Family Focus, created in 1976, is to promote the well-being of children from birth by supporting and strengthening their families in and with their communities. The organization provides community-based programs that help parents, grandparents, and foster and adoptive parents, gain confidence and competence as the primary educators of their children. Family Focus has seven centers throughout the Chicago area.

Fosteringconnections.org is a gathering place of information, training and tools related to furthering the implementation of the Fostering Connections law. The site contains non-partisan research on the bill and various opportunities to communicate with experts and peers.
